| Description | The Wichita Area Chapter of Legal Administrators was formed in 1981. In February 1987, Wichita became the first chapter in Kansas to receive Charter Affiliation with the International Association of Legal Administrators. WALA received Platinum Presidents’ Awards of Excellence in 2006, 2007 and 2009, and the Gold Award of Excellence in 2008. This award recognizes chapters for their efforts in effective chapter management, communications, professional development, recruitment and retention, and other miscellaneous chapter activities. |
